I remember on the very first date with you

You asked me about the shirt I put on.

What’s the price and what’s texture?

From where it’s purchased and when?

I remember on the second date with you

You asked same questions about the watch

I gifted you.

After marriage, you got the opportunity

Of asking huge questions and went on asking.

And I too replied honestly to you

Lots of words we have produced so far

Questions, answers, babbling and talking

What happened after all with that world of words?

I am just calculating something.

So, just listen, what happened yesterday.

Birds alighted on the tree

Trilled there for few hours and fleeted away.

“How are you now?” I asked the sprig

‘I am not passionate!” It replied me

“I too! “It was tree to talk with me unexpectedly,

“Feelings aroused due to birds are important

And neither the birds nor it’s chirping!”

I could not imagine the tree without birds.

I tell you, Words delivered by you intruded in my mind

And sensation yielded cause of it

Created a many worlds for me

Made me passionate over the life

Probably for the ages, since ages!

Feelings are important for me too

But couldn’t experience them without your words

As I am habituated of holding the words.

I must say thanks to the tree

This gave me salvation from words!

Sweetheart, I wish to see the love

In your eyes for me and not in words.

Words have power to purchase anyone

Without investing a single tear.
