What is truth?

Gospel truth!

Absolute truth of the Almighty!

Sometimes in past

I was perplexed for the same question

The truth- Ambiguous, Inscrutable at all!

A sinless bird of my mind once

Wandered here and there to know the truth

All around asking the question to every one

Eventually, it bolted on the battlefield

As no one could reply me

It proved futile. It was fixed

Leaded me confused like Arjuna in Mahabharata!

I was watching all around at a loss with despair

Laid down my arms

My charioteer abruptly rustled upright ahead

With arrow in bow-string about to spring up

Pointing on my chest in the blink of eye

I became disappointed! Slavish!

Thousands of problems aroused in mind

Remained unanswered

In tempestuous hurricane on head

And victims in mind declared

That the war is blown over

My Mahabharata ended there!

The Great War came to end

A splash of corpse all over in my eyes

A bird of mind in this woeful climate

Was moaning of pains continuously

And was asking me

‘What’s truth?

Gospel truth!

Absolute truth of the Almighty

It took too long for me

To answer it and to clear its chest

Flooded of doubts

It has only one answer

Only one!
