23. GRUNTS OF CREATION
I contented surely with the life on and off
But never could go beyond that.
I am certainly affectionate off
& on
But never could become more than
that.
Blood circulated merely in my
heart
But never could grow intrinsic
power.
Many seasons of spring came in
& out
But never sprouted foliage in my
mind!
Birds persisted chirrup all
around
But never could make its nest whither
in my existing.
I am amazed why?
Why the grunts of creation
Could not imprint in my mind
Though I am living in this
creative cosmos?
Why the ocean of my life not
rippled with glee?
This universe standing aside me
in full
Evincing myself the root cause
of it
I could see myself in a corner as
if I am dead.
Dead because tethered in
constraints otherwise alive.
Constraints of mind, not
allowing me to buzz even!
Ants stinging the entire body
Body is laid as an orphan.
Ants of instances and events
happened now & then
I am unconscious by mind,
Decrepit by body! Moribund!
Mighty past instances trampling
me underfoot.
Instances of Spite and Hate,
Instances of Rivalry and Conceit
That brought about by me and my
only
I am sprawled at sixes and
sevens on the ground helplessly
Like a dead cockroach
A cockroach, six legged,
disgusting
A cockroach that scuttles
sickening every corner
Without reason!
The ocean of life appeared slow
down and down
Nowhere waves to rise. No
ripples! No breakers!
Love, affection, warmth, tender
everything boiled down.
Blood circulation in entire body
waning to stop
Epilepsy to come about during the green
spring!
Twittering of birds wholly
fading into oblivion!
Mere coracles deafening me
Perhaps ants shelling my facet
and hard bones
A little consciousness, a bit
swoon!
Arts of colors
Ants of Spite & Hate, Ants
Rivalry & Conceit
Carrying away my frame to some
unknown place!
Feelers on my mouth budged a bit
here and there
And I applauded to see me alive
Then I yelped the universe aside
me
“I am strong, I am too strong!”
Universe said, “Instance are
bound to come & bound to go.
Now I will send spring for you
You be
ready! You be ready!”
