REMAIN THERE WHEREVER - ENGLISH POEMS
ENGLISH POEMS |
. REMAIN THERE WHEREVER!
A old tree tilted
and parched
Eradicated
more than half
Few roots in
and few out!
Decrepit in
the bolt from sky
Slashes of
axes at every place!
Infested with
termite and ruined.
It’s said
Demons and spirits
dwell here in the night time,
Owls and owlets
resonate terrifying,
Bats dangle beyond
the convention topsy-turvy,
Arrogant bees droning
all around,
Venomous serpents
living in sluggishly
And hissing the hood
in fits and starts
Ghosts and witches
abode in the trunk.
I at once was perched
under the tree
In the hot mid day
for the shade
Disrupted in the
ambient world
Annoyed, vexed and
wanted the rest
Almost like the tree
eradicated.
Even then tree was
reeling
It was moving and it
was rocking.
“What for?’ A
practical question raised in my mind
“Must be spring, that
to come?” I stroked up with it.
It chuckled saying
glassy
“Is not the reason
you are here? Think Over.
I know, though here
you are not still here!
Remain there wherever
But keep the spring
in your inner heart
No
matter it comes or not!”
No
matter it comes or not!”
