COMPASSION! - ENGLISH POEM

COMPASSION!
Adjacent to
the thronged street
There’s a wide open door of my home.
You can see from every corner
A begging bowl on the peg driven into adjoining wall!
That’s my identity!
Discontented, Hatred!
It is a routing to foist the bowl early in the morning
And to depart along he thronged street.
To cram odds and ends, bits and pieces caught in the way
Whatever but chock-a-block!
That’s me pauper!
Discontented, Hatred!
It is to handover her at the end of day
And me as usual to go off behind the home in crematorium!
As need to rush back on the street at every dawn
With the bowl in hand
After flicking off the ash on entire body
As it becomes empty till every morning!
That’s my life in this world
Discontented, Hatred!
Today morning, she said,
“The bowl found flooded even after vacating again &
again.”
I started to scoop
out, still was abundant.
An artless particle I could trace
It is enlarged in no time, Pervaded me, my better half
And transcended to the thronged street and to the people
around!
I saw the bowl getting depleted slowly automatically
She didn’t grumble to see it unoccupied.
I have taken the decision
To go along with thronged street with empty bowl in hand
Keeping the particle there aside in her hand!
All people now preaching of compassion that came from haven.
I like my life though it’s
Discontented, Hatred!
